Mel - Head of Catering

Mel oversees Pearl Lemon Boba’s catering and event operations from the first client conversation through to on-site execution. She handles menus, scheduling, supplier coordination, and event documentation, making sure every booking runs smoothly and meets client expectations.

Her experience spans a wide range of events, including brand activations, corporate functions, weddings, and children’s parties. She has worked with recognised names such as WWE, Vodafone, KPMG, Adidas, and Just Eat.

Alongside event delivery, Mel supports commercial growth by managing key accounts and introducing clients to additional group services across SEO, PR, and commercial cleaning. Her focus is on building long-term partnerships and positioning Pearl Lemon as a reliable full-service events provider.

Payal – Event Operations Director

Payal directs end-to-end event operations across the Canadian portfolio. She converts client objectives into structured execution plans aligned with budgets, stakeholder expectations, and contractual milestones.

Her remit includes venue sourcing and negotiation, supplier procurement, cost control, production scheduling, compliance documentation, and risk mitigation. For corporate clients operating across provinces, she ensures liability insurance, food safety certifications, health and safety standards, and municipal permits are secured well ahead of event day.

Payal has delivered executive roundtables, product launches, investor briefings, industry networking forums, and high-capacity corporate functions throughout Canada. Each engagement is governed by milestone tracking, contingency planning, and defined performance benchmarks to maintain commercial control while protecting brand reputation.

Catherine - Event Catering Lead

Catherine oversees the day-to-day running of catering operations across all events. She coordinates event timelines, staff schedules, and service flow to ensure each booking runs to plan. Working directly with clients, kitchen teams, and front-of-house staff, she makes sure menu requirements, dietary needs, and service expectations are clearly communicated and delivered.

Her attention to detail plays a key role in maintaining food presentation, portion control, and service consistency, whether the event is a small private gathering or a high-volume corporate function. Catherine also supports on-site issue resolution, ensuring any last-minute changes are handled efficiently without disrupting the event experience.
